About Me

About Me

I am a mechanical engineering student at Oregon State University, specializing in materials science, and a proud participant in the MECOP program. My professional experience includes a successful internship at Intel in 2024, and I am preparing for my second internship at PCC Structurals starting in June 2025. My non-traditional journey began at 17 with a GED, followed by diverse roles such as CNC-laser technician, industrial CO2 extractor, and lab administrator, where I designed an industrial process to remediate pesticide-contaminated products, igniting my passion for engineering.

My goal is to advance aerospace and botanical extraction technologies by developing innovative materials and devices, driven by the belief that planetary exploration is vital for humanity’s future. With proven problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills, I am a valuable asset to engineering teams. In my free time, I pursue self-directed learning and technical projects to sharpen my expertise.

Culture Jam Art Project, “Got Thirst?”

In this culture jam art piece “Got Thirst” I sought to highlight the privatization controversy from incidents involving Nestle. You can click the picture to go to my projects page with my artist’s statements.

Video Project, “Engineering Slander”

In this short video “Engineering Slander” I focus on the humorous idiosyncrasies I’ve encountered while pursuing my Mechanical Engineering degree.

Ezine Project, “Obey”

Formal Analytical Report” is a work to professionally compare PowerPoint to its competitor Prezi for the purpose of informing program directors and instructors so they can decide which program should be used by their technical writing students. Initially I have begun to look into studies comparing the potential cognitive benefits of each medium as well as working to define relevant criteria for the target audience so that I can assess the weight of each program’s benefits. Moving forward will be an analysis of the results and a suggestion based on the findings.
